Sweet and a little spicy, like cinnamon, with ripe berry flavours and a blueberry aroma.

This coffee has a silky, wine-like body and a long, lingering aftertaste. The flavours are enhanced by traditional sun-dried processing: the fruit is left on the bean as it dries in the sun.

It comes from a large coffee farming co-operative that produces high-quality, forest-grown coffee, including the well-known Ethiopian varieties Guji, Yirgacheffe, Sidamo and Harar. It's a large and very successful fairly traded co-op that we're very proud to source from. It has funded over 365 community projects, including schools, health facilities and infrastructure improvements, and this member-owned organisation has helped farmers escape poverty by ensuring a fairer share of profits.
